|
|
the need for use of bundled openssl seems to be inevitable
Argumentation:
1. State of openssl 1.1 in gentoo at the moment. It is not coming there any much soon, not going to be there for at least next half a year.
2. LibreSSL upstream support. The upstream is not looking into it for any soon coming release.
3. Were we go with standalone openssl for 1.1, we will need to backport and support node's own hacks for 1.1. |
