Hello,

If you have a legacy image you'd like to boot on an EFI-only ('class 3') system, you might be interested to take a look at the short guide I've posted on the Gentoo wiki here.

It runs through how to roll your own kexec-and-busybox-based bootloader, and append it (as the contents of an EFI system partition) to your existing image.

There are many other ways to achieve the same result of course, but this way is fun ^-^
