Hello there,

I'm trying to install some bash themes and one of its dependences is the media-fonts/powerline-symbols.
I have 2 laptops, I did exactly the same steps on both of them, but one, that font just dont work.
My terminal comes with some weird characters bc is not recognizing the powerline font.

rafael  ~  eselect fontconfig list
Available fontconfig .conf files (* is enabled):
[7] 10-powerline-symbols.conf *

The font, as you can see, is enable.

I really dont know what else to do or to look at.

Thank you guys in advance.

Never mind. I got it.

I was running with the wrong locale settings:

Available targets for the LANG variable:
[1] C
[2] en_US
[3] en_US.iso88591
[4] en_US.utf8 *

Using option 2 before.
Changing to 4 fixed.

tks
