Per tutti i moduli Perl non presenti in portage, sys-apps/portage offre un programmino che si chiama g-cpan.pl e che permette di istallare il modulo attraverso CPAN creandone ed emergendo automaticamente l'ebuild. La sinstassi e' :
Code:
g-cpan.pl <modulo Perl>

as esempio
Code:
g-cpan.pl News::NNTPClient

Nota 1: Richiede che CPAN sia istallato e configurato
Nota 2: Se il modulo Perl e' presente in portage, g-cpan.pl indica il nome dell'ebuild da istallare!
