I am using dantrell gnome. when I ssh -Y from my mac I get this error.
I tried

ForwardX11 yes

| On the Mac, you can run X programs normally from the shell where you start the ssh? OSX's main window system is not based on X11, so unless you took special effort to have an X server, you likely have no X server and no xauth data. |

| I do have xquartz on mac. I remember me opening x11 remote ubuntu apps. |
