Is there any support for high-performance computing (HPC) in Gentoo?
The wiki at https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/High_Performance_Computing_on_Gentoo isn't of much help. 2/3 of it are regular Linux configuration. I can't find the OpenPBS ebuild it speaks of at all. It seems that was replaced with PBS Pro, https://www.pbspro.org/, but that also has no ebuild. While there's an ebuild for torque, it seems that this is leaving open source, meaning there won't be any more updates. |

I don't know much about hpc, but would slurm meet your needs? I see we have an ebuild for that. _________________
