It seems to work more or less here (CNN).
Had to do some fiddling though.
I do NOT have adobe-flash installed.
Your compile shows "hardened" use flag.
I think that'll make it refuse to run flash.
My compile Code: |
Calculating dependencies... done!
[ebuild R ] www-client/firefox-52.6.0::gentoo USE="dbus gmp-autoupdate jemalloc startup-notification -bindist -custom-cflags -custom-optimization -debug -eme-free -gtk2 -hardened -hwaccel -jack (-neon) -pgo -pulseaudio (-rust) (-selinux) (-system-cairo) -system-harfbuzz -system-icu -system-jpeg -system-libevent -system-libvpx -system-sqlite {-test} -wifi" L10N="nl -ach -af -an -ar -as -ast -az -bg -bn-BD -bn-IN -br -bs -ca -cak -cs -cy -da -de -dsb -el -en-GB -en-ZA -eo -es-AR -es-CL -es-ES -es-MX -et -eu -fa -ff -fi -fr -fy -ga -gd -gl -gn -gu -he -hi -hr -hsb -hu -hy -id -is -it -ja -ka -kab -kk -km -kn -ko -lij -lt -lv -mai -mk -ml -mr -ms -nb -nn -or -pa -pl -pt-BR -pt-PT -rm -ro -ru -si -sk -sl -son -sq -sr -sv -ta -te -th -tr -uk -uz -vi -xh -zh-CN -zh-TW" 0 KiB

@gerard27, Thks 4 ur support....
please note USE="jack -pulseaudio" here....
Oops by bad... Audio only has a issue. Adobe flash test paga works fine. It doesn't seems to include audio though...
I have another system where it is working fine, with pulseaudio installed...
Neverthetless, same issues raised when I started jackd there too....
Moreover https://github.com/jackaudio/jackaudio.github.com/wiki/WalkThrough_User_PulseOnJack suggests "Running PulseAudio on top of JACK" to be a possible solution for flash alike media players working in a JACK env.
So that's the track I'm currently following.
Expecting it to be stiff, so any help would be appreciated....
Thks 4 ur attention, interest & support. |
