Hi,
on my VPS I use ssh with ldap (I think it's for sftp connections, I actually already forgot what ldap is for), anyways, after seeing the latest news regards it, I finally upgraded to openSSH 7.7 and followed the SSH/LDAP migration guide (https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/SSH/LDAP_migration).
It says: "Verify that your configuration is working" and both commands under it yields the following results:
/usr/lib/python-exec/python3.6/python: can't open file 'ssh-ldap-pubkey': [Errno 2] No such file or directory
Edit: I installed sys-auth/nss_ldap as per https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-1085022.html advice but still same result
Note: creating the directory manually inside the user folder still outputs error: | Code: | can't find '__main__' module in 'ssh-ldap-pubkey'

can someone please assist?
Edit: Well, finally I checked whether I used ldap for sftp connection but it seems it works fine without it. So, it looks like I have all the basic functioning I needed |
