Recommendation for maildir message-moving tool like procmail

I am looking for a tool running locally on my laptop to move mailing list messages from my maildir inbox to subfolders.

I use isync (mbsync) against an IMAP server (which I don't have any configuration control over), and would like to run the tool after mbsync, with moves treated in such a way that the IMAP move applies reliablly on the next mbsync.

Any recommendations?
