Hey all. I'm not too experienced with gentoo, so apologies If this is an easy fix and I'm being stupid.

When emerging kde-plasma/plasma-meta, I had a compile-time error for sci-libs/fftw-3.3.6_p2:
Code:

 * Messages for package sci-libs/fftw-3.3.6_p2:

 * ERROR: sci-libs/fftw-3.3.6_p2::gentoo failed (compile phase):
 *   emake failed

Some more info:
Code:

$ emerge --info "=sci-libs/fftw-3.3.6_p2::gentoo"

When attempting to wgetpaste the build log:
Code:

 $ sudo wgetpaste --verbose /var/tmp/portage/sci-libs/fftw-3.3.6_p2/temp/build.log
Pasting > 25 kB often tend to fail with dpaste. Use --verbose or --debug to see the
error output from wget if it fails. Alternatively use another pastebin service.
Apparently nothing was received. Perhaps the connection failed.

I'm not able to copy directly from the file, so the only option I can think of is wgetpaste.

Thanks

The file is too large try to change wgetpaste service
Code:
$ wgetpaste -S
Services supported: (case sensitive):
   Name:    | Url:
   =========|=================
    bpaste  | https://bpaste.net/
    codepad | http://codepad.org/

The problem are your cflags, why you have
Code:
CFLAGS="-march=skylake -mno-avx -mno-aes -mno-rdrnd -O2 -pipe"

your cpu support avx and aes instruction set but you disabled them
