Here emacs GUI warns @launch:

Any idea how to fix?

'xft' USE flag did the trick.

That's not an xft specification. If that worked then it's just guessing at what you want.

xlsfonts should show you what X fonts you have available. Usually an error like that means you don't have the font or specific size specified. You might have the font, but not at that point size, or something trivial like that. It's really anal. Maybe replace 120 with *?
