Why does systemd have that many multicast ports that i do not see on openrc.
Code:
]~ $ netstat -tupln
(Not all processes could be identified, non-owned process info
will not be shown, you would have to be root to see it all.)
Active Internet connections (only servers)
Proto Recv-Q Send-Q Local Address           Foreign Address         State       PID/Program name
udp        0      0 127.0.0.53:53           0.0.0.0:*                           -
udp        0      0 0.0.0.0:68              0.0.0.0:*

I do not see that local traffic on openrc?

compared openbox openrc -> plamsa systemd i think that it does not really matter lol

Your output shows two listening sockets. It does NOT show any traffic and the sockets have nothing to do with multicast. Look here to find out what multicast is: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IP_multicast

Systemd provides a caching and validating DNS/DNSSEC stub resolver, which listens on 127.0.0.53:53. Look here for more information: https://www.freedesktop.org/software/systemd/man/systemd-resolved.service.html

so that traffic is legit? if i understand it is local traffic created by systemd because i did not see any traffic like that on openrc.
then i will ignore that random netstat output.
