Hi,
I'm trying to setup a ftp server for my surveillance cameras. However I realized that vsftpd throws an error, if the users home is writable. on the other hand, if I disable the write access, the camera cannot create its folder.
Are there any other solutions, like ftp servers using virtual users? |

I thought vsftp was properly configured not by explicitly changing directory permissions, but by using the vsftp config file so that users are allowed to write to their assigned dirs...? _________________ Gentoo Studio: A Gentoo-based, professional digital audio workstation OS. |
