I have recently found a few games (Northgard and Natural Selection) that don't start. The solution seems to be to delete the games' local libSDL2.so files and let it use the system libSDL2 files.
I'm glad it works (seriously, Northgard is great!), but I am curious why it works. |

The system libSDL2 .so was build according to your make.conf and should work well on your box. But the one that comes with the game, who knows how it was built?
Try using the 'file' command on the libSDL2.so files in question to see if there are incompatibility issues. |
