Hi,
using autofs via LABEL= it does not detect new devices. After I plug a LUKS encrypted USB drive, I have a udev-rule unlocking that via keyfile. However after plugging I have a functional /dev/mapper device and the new LABEL in blkid |grep LABEL. But autofs doesn't mount, it only works after restarting the service. Any other solution? _________________ HP ZBook Power G9 i7-12700H,64GB DDR5|HP ProDesk 600 G5 i7-9700,128GB DDR4 |

Any idea how to solve this? I can always restart the autofs service. It also seems that it recognizes the new device after a while, but usually not immediately after plugged in.
It sounds a bad idea to to some rc-service autofs restart in the udev script for every new device. _________________ HP ZBook Power G9 i7-12700H,64GB DDR5|HP ProDesk 600 G5 i7-9700,128GB DDR4 |
