dopo l'installazione del networkmanager
è cambiato l'hostname
in /etc/conf.d/hostname è scritto hostname="gentoo"
che è quello inserito da me in dase d'installazione
questo è cio che appare nel terminale
Code: | new-host /home/trigg # nano /etc/conf.d/hostname
new-host /home/trigg # exit
exit
trigg@new-host ~ $ |

non saprei dirti , potrbbe essere che NMutilizzi un file da lui impostato per il nuovo set
se stai utilizzando OpenRC

se stai utilizzando systemd

ci risiamo
questa mattina ho installato gtk3
e l'hostname da gentoo è cambiato in arch (l'hostname di arch-linux installato in una partizione dello stesso pc)
nell'immagine c'è /etc/conf.d/hostname
e il terminale che ha l'hostname di un'altro sistema installato nel pc

cosa può essere successo?
pur digitando hostnmae gentoo al riavvio mi ritrovo con arch

penso di aver risolto da solo
ho creato il file /etc/hostname
e scritto gentoo ; al riavvio mi ha dato l'hostname esatto.
anche se mi piacerebbe capire come mai aveva preso l'hostnmae di arch |

Quel messaggio di nano "/etc/conf.d/hostname non è scrivibile" mi lascia perplesso
PS : Arch utilizza systemd ? o sysvinit ? perchè se utilizza systemd quel file non gli appartiene , magari hai fatto il chroot da là _________________ LRS i586 on G.Drive

può essere che per l'avvio, gentoo ha usato l'immagine di arch?
perchè per l'avvio ho usato grub-customizer di arch-linux può essere dipeso da questo forse
però da quando ho creato il file /etc/hostaname e scritto gentoo non ho avuto più problemi |
