Hello.

I was trying to build another Gentoo system using crossdev, when I noticed it copies static libraries from the host system's crossdev toolchain. For e.g. it links against libstdc++.a. And to list the static libraries in the toolchain --

/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/7.2.0/32/libatomic.a
/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/7.2.0/32/libatomic.la
/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/7.2.0/32/libgcc.a
/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/7.2.0/32/libgcc_eh.a
/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/7.2.0/32/libgcov.a
...
...
...

My question is, do these static libraries contain native code of the host machine? If not, what CFLAGS/CXXFLAGS are used to build these and how can I change them?
