|
Hello!
This is my first time to post here. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
I want to connect my pc to wifi on sabayon.
I have dual booting Windows 10 and sabayon with the Dell laptop.
Code: | uname -a
Linux sabayon 4.14.0-sabayon #1 SMP Thu May 31 15:04:56 UTC 2018 x86_64 Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4210U CPU @ 1.70GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux
|
I tried to check the device ID and chipset.
Code: | 06:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Broadcom Limited BCM43142 802.11b/g/n [14e4:4365] (rev 01) |
Code: | Kernel modules: bcma |
And I tried to emerge 'net-wireless/broadcom-sta-6.30.233.271-r4/'.
But I saw the following messages.
Code: |
# emerge net-wireless/broadcom-sta

So, I changed /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf.
Code: |
## make broadcom-sta happy
## <2012-12-08.
blacklist ssb
blacklist bcma
blacklist brcmsmac
blacklist b43
blacklist mac80211
# make b43 happy (ditch broadcom-sta)
# 2012-12-08. Testing needed.
#blacklist wl
|
I tried to emerge it again, but nothing was changed.
In addition, I cannot to disable X86_INTEL_LPSS. I don't know how to do it.
Can I connect it to wifi ?
Please help me. |

You should re-emerge kernel sources 4.14.0 _________________ Questions are guaranteed in life; Answers aren't. |
