Hi Gentooser,
I was trying to recover a 7 months installation with a bunch of blocks and end up breaking the system.
Has anybody happen to know where can I find some binaries for bash, procps ans gnutls?
Best

Hi Graham
Looks like things are no so simple. I still cant emerge things here.
Is there any workaround for the message bellow?
"bash process substitution doesn't work: this may be a indication of a broken '/dev/fd'.
And also, "error while loadiing shared libraries: libncurses.so.6

Try Fixing broken portage first and report back results.

I followed the instruction with no success. First, I didnt have /usr/lib/portage, only /usr/lib/systemd
I created it and copied pym and bin to there. Link emerge to /usr/bin, but noting happens when I fire emerge portage.

You can post your emerge --info and /var/tmp/portage/net-libs/gnutls-3.5.18/work/gnutls-3.5.18-abi_x86_64.amd64/config.log file content?

Code:
configure:5411: x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-gcc -O2 -pipe  -Wl,-O1 -Wl,--as-needed conftest.c  >&5
/usr/lib/../x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/bin/ld: cannot find crtbeginS.o: No such file or directory
/usr/lib/../x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/bin/ld: cannot find -lgcc
/usr/lib/../x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/bin/ld: cannot find -lgcc_s

There is a problem with gcc, you installed from binary?
