chromium-bin
takes too long to build otherwise. Chromium has hardware video accell. Who agrees to a bin? |

There are few -bins available. Why not try some chromium-based binary browser too then, like vivaldi or brave?
I dont agree or disagree with adding chromium-bin. I think it would be a lot of work even if there is a dedicated server to build the binaries, since it might get new releases multiple times a day. Is hwaccel the only difference between chromium and google-chrome? |

Im sure there are a few minor others, but HW accell is what stands out the most for me. Would really appriciate it if any1 linked a deb/rpm ect cause I could not find any which worked. |

Google takes the open source code and adds their own secret spice so exactly what gets added is anyone's guess but you know that they are not just adding their own branding. Probably spyware to aid in serving you adds. _________________ First things first, but not necessarily in that order.
Apologies if I take a while to respond. I'm currently working on the dematerialization circuit for my blue box. |

Just downloaded a chromium snapshot and was surprised hardware video decode isn't available.

is there anyway to get it to work? 4k video uses most of the cpu. Good thing I didn't I quit trying to build chromium, I would have likely have had to rebuild it. |
