Hello,

qBittorrent and VLC have messed up scaling.
I found a simple solution, just typing:
Code:
export QT_AUTO_SCREEN_SCALE_FACTOR=0

In a terminal and after that starting my Qt5 applications, and the scaling is fine.
This only works in the context of the terminal.
Obviously I want this to be executed every time I start my IDE (LXDE) and have it set system wide.
But when I put this in a script or in autostart, nothing happens.
Same behaviour when I start the bash script in the terminal...
Code:
#!/bin/bash
export QT_AUTO_SCREEN_SCALE_FACTOR=0

What am I doing wrong?

edit:
I put the export command in /etc/bash/bashrc, now it's set system wide

gorg86 ... it should be in /etc/profile.d/ and not /etc/bash/bashrc

/etc/profile.d/qt_auto_screen_scale_factor.sh:
export QT_AUTO_SCREEN_SCALE_FACTOR=0

best ... khay

/etc/profile.d is scary empty on my system :roll:

I created the file /etc/env.d/60qt_auto_screen_scale_factor (is this the better location :?: ) with
Code:
QT_AUTO_SCREEN_SCALE_FACTOR=0

then running
env-update
source /etc/profiles

and rebooting the system fixed it.
