Hello, I use KDE as a desktop and I can not print anything from QT applications, but from GTK.
I do not see the printer, just give me the option to create a pdf with any QT application

This is weird, how did you set up the printer, is it by following the instructions in the wiki....there should be comprehensive enough information to get printer to work from pretty much any device. Do you maybe not have CUPS installed, can you check and get back with some definitive information about what is going on...some things to include in your next post would include as the wiki describes in the very first step:

Code:
root #emerge -pv net-print/cups

Another thing worthwhile including might be your kernel (uname) and kernel configuration file found in /proc/config.gz or else in the kernel's source directory

If by chance you have an HP printer, install net-print/hplip

Also the problems I did have with printing have been solved by using QT-5.11.0_rc2

QT-5.11.0 has been released, but the Gentoo developers have not made it available yet.

If you don't use HP, I believe you need to setup the printer via the cups web interface.

For HP, hplip will do via it's setup tool.

Good luck;

George
