I'm afraid I need to bring a screenshot this time...

Setting: dwm with rxvt-unicode set as the default terminal.
Problem: Shift+Alt+Return. Two prompts! Screenshot.

Every time I open another terminal, the number of prompts is even increased, i.e. in the next terminal I get three prompts and so on.
What have I done? 8O

pun_guin ...

can you reproduce with another window manager? This, and the other issue you've posted, both seem odd corner cases, how are you starting dwm?

I start dwm over lightdm. No such problem inside Window Maker which is also started over lightdm: Screenshot.

pun_guin ... first try and fix the issue with terminfo from your other post, that may play some part in this too. If that doesn't fix it then let me know and I'll try and suggest something. BTW, not having /usr/share/terminfo could mean filesystem corruption or some other loss of integrity.
