|
|
Hello Everyone.
So I installed pulseaudio + bluez5 following this guide:
https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/PulseAudio
My bluetooth headset is working fine with the A2DP profile, however I can't use the microphone.
As far as I understand: To use my bluetooth headset's microphone, I must use either the HSP or HFP profiles.
I tried to rebuild pulseaudio with native-headset USE flag,
but I then got a really bad sound quality and a loopback of the microphone in the headset.
(module loopback is not loaded)
I didn't manage to fix it.
So I reinstalled pulseaudio with the ofono-headset USE flag.
ofono-1.16 would not build, so I unmaked the 1.23
but I still can't change my headset profile:
Code: |
$ pacmd list-cards | grep HFP
headset_head_unit: Headset Head Unit (HSP/HFP) (priority 20, available: no)
|
Code: |
Failed to set card profile to 'headset_head_unit'.
|
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thank you. |

Update:
When I try to activate the profile "Headset Head Unit (HFP/HSP)" the system get these errors (dmesg) :
Code: |
[11174.724998] Bluetooth: hci0 SCO packet for unknown connection handle 0
[11174.734999] Bluetooth: hci0 SCO packet for unknown connection handle 0
[11174.735002] Bluetooth: hci0 SCO packet for unknown connection handle 0
[11174.735003] Bluetooth: hci0 SCO packet for unknown connection handle 0
[11174.745099] Bluetooth: hci0 SCO packet for unknown connection handle 0
[11174.745112] Bluetooth: hci0 SCO packet for unknown connection handle 0

Could this be related to the firmware ? |
