Hah! I hadn't heard a cover of that one. I like the last one. Will have to check out some of their other stuff. Faiths' wasn't bad, Placebo's seemed uninspired. Maybe just my mood. I believe I've heard other similarly "flat" deliveries which worked for me.

Great song, one of the best in in the last 10 years

Good video also. Where is the LSD?
 It's strangely hypnotic at the beginning and then reminds me of Heavy Metal (the animated film) :D

I didn't care much for Placebo either, just kinda threw it in there as a participation award in a guess at chronological order.

Chromatics are good. I think Night Drive and In the City are good albums with a similar sound.

NO idea what he was trying with the first two albums. The second did seem a bit "improved," but both seemed like discordant tantrum punk.

Moving on from that, I didn't expect this one to work, but it does, surprisingly (to me) well:

Chromatics "Girls Just Wanna Have Some"

Sounds artificial compared to the original.

Not bad. Listening to some others now.

The College Dropout - Kanye West

This seems like a comedy album (primarily social commentary). There times when it sounds like an appearance is made by Alvin & The Chipmunks.

Someday I Suppose

This band is funny. I'm not sure it is supposed to be as I'm not generally a fan of the genre. Maybe it is in part because he sometimes sounds like Dennis Leary (yes, both from Boston).

Hopefully their goal was "different." Mission accomplished.

Also, I always think of this instead of the original. I had an "Oh, not that one" moment.

I believe that was admitted to be a PR move. Which is fine.
