Flamenco :D

For your ears, Manitas de Plata, one of the best flamenco players of all times. His playing can be really weird and each note will sound good anyway. ❤️ Manitas de Plata in Full Concert 1986 ❤️
Another concert with some of his most famous songs (from 10:02) and other famous players of that time: ❤️ Full Concert of Manitas de Plata ❤️ MUST SEE (Remasterising)

Over-modulation doesn't sound good. You can only get so loud before it starts sounding like fingernails on a chalkboard, or chewing on tinfoil. It doesn't get louder, it just grabs you and gives you the perception of being loud because it is really annoying. Not sure if it's the band setup or the recording.

Someone needs to be slapped. Me, the "sound guy", or the person recording it. Someone needs to pay for such an injustice.

Hey, take another maitai, grogg or just a pinch of rum. It will just make it sound more clear to you then.

Pretty cool. Once the tune gets moving (give it a minute or so) it gets into a nice groove. In a weird way, it reminds me of early (1980s) Tangerine Dream.

p.s. I'm hearing some nice bass going on, also.

I think he's ok. Hellberg on the bass though (My op). YT made it clear that I am a heterosexual. So I cannot find an appropriate clip to show him off. Oh, did I try...Worked...like 4 years ago. No problem.
OOOPS. My problem: Hellborg. Got so up in arms I guess. Sorry. This one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ex4x6_iHi_M

Hmm... That MSG (Not SMG) seems too good to call a Swartzendruber contribute...Nice none the less.

This is the best sound we could get at that time in such small events. In big events, it was even worst because the sound was good only near the stage.

Today, most musicians are using more powerful amplifiers which a lot of effects between the instrument and the amplifier. They use the effects to make the sound and the amplifier is used just to get the volume. It's boring but much safer for the amplifiers, they doesn't break in the middle of a gig anymore.
