I searched a lot on google and on this forum, but all of the threads I found, were about missing "suspend" and "hibernate" buttons in plasma.
I do have these buttons in "leave" menu, and also suspend (to RAM) is working fine.
But when I hit "hibernate" or use this function as lid close action - it just locks the session with SDDM login screen.
The kernel hibernate is working fine:
|echo disk > /sys/power/state |
It suspends to disk, and the resume goes quite OK.
But the plasma hibernate action is just doing a wrong thing.
It is very annoying, because if I have to quickly shut up the laptop's lid and go with it away, after few hours I find my laptop in it's case hot and with no battery charge or powered off.
