Greetings,

for some reason I lost the ability to see unicode in either konsole nor in filenames under dolphin.
for example:
Code:

dagg@NCC-5001-D ~ $ LANG=en_US.utf8 LC_ALL=en_US.utf8 printf '\xb5'

this should print the micro sign.
en_US.utf8 is showed when running locale -a

any ideas?

Right-click on Konsole terminal window -> 'Edit current profile' -> 'Advanced' -> Encoding / Default character encoding -> Switch to: 'Unicode / UTF-8' -> Apply -> OK

Retry: printf '\ub5'
