Hey,
I've installed mpv (the video player) via
Code:
 sudo emerge --ask --deep mpv

and I've added my user account to the video group, but If I try to launch mpv from the command line, it throws me an error telling me there's no mpv command

The binary usually are located in /usr/bin/mpv, you have this file?
You can post use flag activated in mpv package (emerge -pvq mpv).
Probably you haven't enabled cli use flag

Output of emerge -pvq mpv

Code:

But that's Irrelevant, I fixed the issue, an overlay was interfering with my ffmpeg package, I just removed that layer and re-emerged ffmpeg, thanks for the help!

Disabling the default USE=cli, which you've done, may also cause problems.
