I'm feeling the linux love. I'd forgotten how great linux is compared to Win8.1/10: very fast boots and shutdowns, insane responsiveness, especially with many processes running simultaneously. My Xfce environment is so nice to navigate, from tilda always available up top, to my 4 differently wallpapered desktops, to hotkeys for root and user terminals. It's just so much nicer to have an environment you can endlessly tune to your changing preferences and all for free. Happy to be back.

The necessity that pulled me away ended. And I felt a renewed urge to tinker with a computer indtead of treating it like an appliance.
