I have really strange behavior of the networkmanager
after booting the system, my /etc/resolv.conf contains
Code: |
Generated By NetworkManager
nameserver "IPv6 adress" |
But I expect it should contain
Code: | Generated By NetworkManager
domain "Mylocaldomain"
nameserver "IPv6 adress"
nameserver "IPv4 adress" |
now if i do a i have the expected result, i should have directly after booting |

I have now maybe found out why NetworkManager behavior is as it is. The Problem is I have no clue in which config I can configure this.
The problem is that the interface is inactive, and not fully activated. If I do the described above with dhclient, or nmtui and activate the connection, it works. But I want that this is done without I have to do something, and I also not want do a workaround, as I have done it for now.
Where I can config NetworkManager behavior, to force the device is active? I'm nearly sure, if I would have a GUI installed the problem would be away, but I don't want do this. I want to know where I can configure this. |
