So i am trying to get this installed and started with this.
emerge games-rpg/runescape-launcher
had issues with needed keywords and ect... so i added this to the command.
emerge games-rpg/runescape-launcher --autounmask-write
And things started to happen, yes! then another error

So i checked to see if i could get any more information, this is all i have,

Try to remove Manifest (/usr/portage/games-rpg/runescape-launcher/Manifest) file and re create it

This is a recurring bug due to upstream laziness: https://bugs.gentoo.org/625884
Gotta run right now but if maintainer doesn't beat me to it I'll open a PR with this fixed this afternoon. |

Okay so i removed this from that location and now i get this error

I think you removed also ebuild. Resync portage tree

I think you removed also ebuild. Resync portage tree |
yes i did i just got done doing all this when you posted it  and removed the mani fest then typed in the command ebuild /usr/portage/games-rpg/runescape-launcher/runescape-launcher-2.2.4-r2.ebuild digest, and then tried to reemerge it and it worked!!!!
i would like to say thank you very much for all your help and taking time out of your day to help me solve this. i also feel like my knowledge of gentoo has increased!!

| Use the "--force" option ebuild suggests when you try to generate a new Manifest.... |
