|
Hi,
I already wrote a post on the subject, although it wasn't accurate, and could not retrieve it..
For example, should I play https://youtu.be/j0dPJOOlGZA from the browser of from downloaded file, sound is crippled when output isn't on laptop internal speaker.
Please note this is an odd situation in respect with ~4000 auditable downloaded files.
Any idea what is happening?
Any idea how to fix (I have a bad feeling it isn't fixable, though)?
Thks 4 ur attention, interest & support.

Concerned files play fine on laptop internal speaker, and sound gibberish on jack connected external speakers/headphones.
I haven't tried on HDMI audio yet.

That was a better test for issues. |

Hi,
Ops, my bad!
My internal laptop sound system is stereo of course, as my external speaker is mono, but mixing channels.
Now the clue, 4 those who haven't guessed yet:
Channels were dephased on troublesome tracks!
Maybe pulseaudio GUI would allow me to mix before sending to internal stereo... I've got to check that out!
