It's John Cleese talking about The Life of Brian and I thought it's taken 35 years to go from Christians to Muslims.

What islamophobia? Are we burning muzzies at the stake? Torturing them until they accept Jesus? Islamophobia is just a term thrown around by the bat shit crazy, authoritarian left, to try and silence any legitimate criticism of that religion.

One of these days we'll look and see how many of us they killed and how many of them we killed.

I doubt most have the courage to do this today, but someday.

You neither look at the past nor take responsibility for the future. Marginalising Muslims isn't going to solve the problem, it will only make it worse. They do something wrong then you fucking spank them! The good ones you welcome with open arms like anyone else

No. The thread title used a false narrative so I presumed the content would be comparable.

You can't actually administer a botty spanking anymore, it's counted as persecution of a minority ethnic/religious group. This is the fruit of PC limpness.

There's certainly been torture

Quote:
http://www.aljazeera.com/news/2017/08/minnesota-mosque-bombed-morning-prayers-170805212937086.html

Quote:
The group found that there were 2,213 such incidents last year, a 57 percent increase from 2015.

A recent report also said hate crimes spiked in 2016, which was the worst year on record for anti-Muslim incidents since the group began its documentation system in 2013.

The Southern Poverty Law Center also found that the number of anti-Muslim hate groups in the US has nearly tripled since Donald Trump launched his presidential campaign in 2015.

Quote:
http://www.aljazeera.com/indepth/opinion/abu-ghraib-legacy-torture-war-terror-170928154012053.html

There are different ways to understand the role of shock when it comes to Abu Ghraib. On the one hand, "shock" at abuses underscores the false American narrative of the protection of human rights and "our values" in how we engage in conflict with others. On the other hand, shock at not knowing about abuses can perhaps be attributed to the documentary role of the Abu Ghraib scandal in participatory humiliation - in this case, humiliation of Muslim prisoners provoked by Islamophobia that allows the American public to engage in their torture vicariously as a collective act of vengeance for the 9/11 attacks. Described another way, as Dora Apel writes (pdf), "the viewer is meant to identify with the proud torturers in the context of the defense of a political and cultural hierarchy."

Islamophobia is a nice way to put what the greatest generation would say reminded them of antisemitism.

You post al jazeera, as a source, I'll post Fox. I will ignore anything from the SPLC. That organization lost ALL credibility years ago.

Fake Hate Crimes or how about: More fake hate crimes and who can forget Clock Boy ? As to antisemitism, there are more reports of antisemitism than there are antimuzzie. And guess who are commiting many of these attacks on Jews? Paris anyone?

Well, I have experience Birmingham council is about as limp as it's possible to get.

When I say limp, I really mean a spirit of complete and utter surrender to whatever ethnic minority cause happens to be flavour of the week. This is doubly dangerous with Islam, you cannot hope to negotiate on a bended knee - we (Europe and England) don't seem to be able to grok that concept.

Whenever Islam is criticized for it's more unsavory aspects, like killing gay people, or forcing women to get a male relative's permission to do just about anything, people like our own sugar point to Indonesia as the largest muzzie country and remark on how it differs from the seventh century savages that make up most of islam.

Well now Indonesia wants to criminalize premarital sex, gay sex, and adultery.

Quote:
The new code, a recent draft of which was seen by The Wall Street Journal, would expand the definition of adultery from marital infidelity to include sex between unmarried people and make the offense punishable by up to five years in prison, up from nine months currently.
The debate comes as lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender rights face increasing opposition, particularly from conservative Islamist

And new proposals to limit freedom of speech. One must not be allowed to criticize the slave owning pedophile that muzzies claim was the perfect man.

Quote:
Other articles in the new code would ban people from criticizing the president. The draft also expands an article on blasphemy—increasingly used to jail adherents of minority faiths, including Jakarta’s Christian governor last year—and increased the severity of punishment for the crime.

Yep. The Religion of Peace. I've asked sugar a number of times to explain why the batshit crazy left legitimizes this sick behavior. He would never condone these proposals if Trump would have offered them. Why are his ilk silent when it comes to islam? This is an honest question that I've never gotten an answer.

The unsavory aspects you speak of were evident in western culture too, and not too long ago.

Why hasn't Islam kept pace, should be the question. And the answer might be, maybe it is. That in a race between cultures that have been formed over thousands of years, a difference of fifty years may not be the capital crime you make it out to be.

And does it help when we perennially set their culture back by always fucking around with it? Whether we're talking about the British and these partitions or coups in Iran and Syria and Libya or forcing a Jewish state onto an Arab peninsula or bombs, bombs, bombs, and more bombs, one might get the impression that the Muslim world has been operating with a bit of a handicap.

Our fault, again, sooner or later they (Islamic world at large) has to take responsibility for its collective actions.

They won't with the hand wringing apologists however.

As a believer in the free market, irrational religious fears of a group of individuals must eventually give way to a judgement of an individuals productive labour capacity.

A group of people should not be judged, only on their ability to produce goods and services for others.

That is the natural law.
