edit*
Elan Touch-pad jumps around, the sensitivity just does not feel comfortable.
the touch pad works, however the cursor seems jumpy, the touch pad moves glitchy.
xiniput set-prop works:
Code: |
xinput set-prop "Elan Touchpad" "Synaptics Finger" 5 10 50
|
the touch pad is recognized with lspci -k so i would think the kernel modules are ok?
does anyone know a xfce / touch pad command line or script to make it more control-able?
if i need to provide system information feel free to ask.

i think xfce has the same settings dialogs as mate/gnome2, i slide accel and sensitivity all the way to the left, disable edge scrolling (in favour of two finger scroll), and disable touchpad clicks. do those help at all? |
