Hi, there.
I tried to install mariadb on my vps. but it failed at config phase.
I have no idea how to handle it. could anyone help me? Thanks in advance.

I have changed the hostname in /etc/conf.d/hostname.
should I reboot? Is there a way to update hostname avoiding reboot? _________________ peace, focus. |

Never tried but /etc/init.d/hostaname restart if you use openrc (no idea for systemd).
