I am trying to run a ftp server.and I installed the vsftpd package.
below is vsftpd.conf file:
ftpd_banner=Welcome to jerry FTP service.
when I am using filezilla client on OS X, It works fine without TLS.
but when I use net-ftp/ftp client on gentoo, it gets stuck.
after running the command: ftp 220.127.116.11, the response is
220 Welcome to jerry FTP service.
after I typed in "jerry" and Enter, it was stuck.
when I use ftp client on Windows cmd, the response message is:220 Welcome to jerry FTP service.and then the connection is closed by server.
Is it because that the ftp client uses TLS by default?
What should I do? Thanks in advance!
