|
|
I'm running GCC 3.2 and the bootstrap and emerge system all built just peachy. When I build the kernel, bzImage and the modules build fine, but when it gets 1/2 way through modules_install I get this error:
Code: |
cd /lib/modules/2.4.19-gentoo-r7
mkdir -p pcmcia; \
find kernel -path '*/pcmcia/*' -name '*.o' | xargs -i -r ln -sf ../{ } pcmcia if [ -r System.map }; then /sbin/depmod -ae -F System.map 2.5.19-gentoo-r7; fi |
The kernely boots fine, so I'm not sure it the modules_install did indeed finish properly, but it seems abnormal not to have clearer feedback about it finishing properly.
My cflags are: -march=pentium3 -o3 -pipe -mmmx -msse -mfpmath=sse |

That looks like a normal completion to me. _________________ For every higher wall, there is a taller ladder |
