New user trying to get video players, browsers/etc install

Hi everybody I just installed Gentoo the other day & today I finally got my GUI installed, but I'm having troubles with Portage & I don't know why... I added a bunch of the files to the package.use file but its still not working.

This is what happens when I try to install stuff. How do I get around this? :/

And this is my package.use file. What must I change in order to make this stuff install?? I'm still trying to learn the basics of Portage, I need my laptop for tomorrow & I need it to work!
And what are license changes? How do I make it configure that??

Edit: I sorted out the USE changes, I remembered how that worked, I took out the other 3 packages that were causing a licensing change thing, but now I have to figure out a "keyword changes" problem

Edit 2: I've made it start installing but I had to cut out the bluez-alsa bluez-tools & qt5ct due to that licensing error thing I don't know how to solve.

Stop putting things in package.use except as a last resort. You have tied yourself in knots and its confusing to portage too.

You need to sanitize your USE settings.
-static-libs should never appear in package.use. That's the global default.
Only exceptions where static-libs are required appear here.

-debug should never be in package use. Building your system with USE=debug in make.conf will render it useless until you rebuild it.

Don't mix bindist and -bindist on the same system. That's a sure way to get conflicts.

Don't do what portage suggests here.

If you do that, at a minimum your use flag settings are lost on any subsequent rebuild or update of said packages, but most likely, you are running into horrible dependency issues.

Okay well.... could somebody please show me the right way to go about doing this stuff??? And how do I get updates with things like qt5ct??? How do I make this stuff work??? I need my laptop for tomorrow but it looks like its not going to be working for me...

I'm at 29/89 installing things right now, I'll let that finish then I'll run that command & alter the package.use thing, thanks Neddy.

It looks to me like Neddy did show you the right way to do this. Do you need additional clarification on his instructions?

What problem do you have updating qt5ct through Portage?

hcitool is a tool for QTSIXA which is what I use to pair my PS3 controllers, I use a special modified version of QTSIXA that works with fake PS3 controllers. github.com/supertypo/qtsixa

There's another 40 packages left before I can try Neddy's suggestion. Unfortunately my Intel Atom N270 is quite slow :d

They said that the generated autounmask entry would not allow Portage to update in the way you might want. Take the main advice from that post and avoid using the autounmask entry. Install qt5ct as chosen by your system setting of ACCEPT_KEYWORDS, with autounmask disabled. From the output provided, I don't see why Portage wants you to install a keyword-free version. Please post your current emerge --info. It may also be interesting to see emerge --pretend --verbose \<x11-misc/qt5ct-0.33.

Its still got another 20 packages its sorting out, I may have to postpone this for tomorrow
I've found a video on youtube that is supposed to explain me Portage, I hope I can learn how to utilize it better. Any videos you guys could recommend I'd gladly watch.

Why not read the official documentation maintained by the project? That's likely both more detailed and better maintained than external videos.

Alright so I've got the keywords and the use figured out, but I still can't figure out the license... I don't understand, I followed the gentoo wiki but its not working :/
videos work well because then I can have someone explain to me how everything works, and I can listen to it a few times and then have it memorized, its easier than reading but I still always try to use the gentoo wikis, I have like 20 of them in my bookmarks lol

There is an ACCEPT_LICENSE="..." that goes in make.conf.
Much as USE, its a space separated list of licence names to accept.
