Thus:
Quote:
~ $ gnucash
Throw without catch before boot:
Throw to key misc-error with args ("primitive-load-path" "Unable to find file ~S in load path" ("ice-9/boot-9") #f)Aborting.
Aborted (core dumped)
This comes after moving from an amd64/13.0/desktop profile to an amd64/17.0/desktop profile. This involves doing an "emerge -e" so lots of things can go wrong. One of things I'm hoping to resolve is getting gnucash running again. Thanks,
Fred

Sorry for the noise. Gnucash depends on webkit-gtk-2.4.11-r200, and so that is almost certainly the source of the problem. I'll file a bug on webkit-gtk.
I just tried to emerge and got the failure mentioned in bug https://bugs.gentoo.org/639786
When that is fixed perhaps gnucash will emerge and all will work.

If you're not absolutely married to gnucash, may I recommend grisbi? I use it and like it for its obvious layout and simplicity.
