Hello! When I visit baidu.com or another hieroglyphic web-site I cannot see anything. Like on the screen https://itmag.es/348QK
So what I need to do to set up Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic characters sets? I only want to see the characters, but not to translate packages or get translations. |

To display them, you only need to install more fonts like noto-cjk or opendesktop-fonts or whatever.
If you already have the fonts (when you copy paste the text to inkscape or some text editor, the characters appear) you'd have to check if you missed some font related useflags like truetype, pango or xft. |

The font for Korean, Japanese and Chinese that I use are:
Code: |
media-fonts/baekmuk-fonts
media-fonts/arphicfonts
media-fonts/kochi-substitute
|
You can check for the other fonts available. _________________ Details fueled any investigation ... |
