Greetings,

I have a vm on vbox which I want to migrate to kvm, the how to requires to release and remove the hdd image.
how can I save the machine so I can revert to it if something goes wrong?

i#m not sure what you want to do; but with
Code:
VBoxManage clonehd oldfile.vdi newfile.vdi
you can clone the diskimage (pls check syntax before, might be outdated)
the just save your configs someplace
there is also clonevm which lets you clone the vm itself.

found the answer, keep the previous files and readd them to vbox.
