|

Hello, I'm new to Gentoo and portage. I have a problem with dependences:
I have installed system with bindist flag in /etc/portage/make.conf
Everything was ok until I try to emerge deluge. It was in conflict with openssl which was build with bindist. Then I removed bindist from make.conf, and tried to run: Code: | emerge --update --newuse --deep @world | It failed to compile some package. Then I retried and noticed, that now I need to rebuild less packages than before. After several tries there left ~15 packages, which are also fail to build, but now it fails right on first package python2_7.
Now I am unable to emerge anything that somehow depends on openssl or python2_7 nor even update system using command above. So I need some help with that. Feel free to ask me for any command output. |

new_life welcome!
You should post build.log of package that fails.
One thing occurs to me, what version of openssl you installed? _________________ Questions are guaranteed in life; Answers aren't. |

I will be glad if you tell me how you determined this fact, e.g. which lines in build.log are telling this. |

You are not the first that has this problem.
See related bug.
In reality installation of openssl 1.1.0 is forced by a bug of portage _________________ Questions are guaranteed in life; Answers aren't. |
