I was thinking about getting one proper for the task. Not too small between the keys. Distinct touch and still gentle.
There are some with lights and could be good while being dark...

I have a Logitech K200. It's not exactly bomb-ass-fantastic. Still, it kind of does the taks OK.
What I have felt is my myalgia straining and really flourishing after some time.

So, what do you prefer?

MS Natural. Though my specific model isn't quite as good as my original. :(

gnaahh...
I have seen that S-board ala MS. Not confusing at all...
Razor, I've observed that one. I know as of late it do have lights too ( SO COOL! ). (lol).
It's a steep ladder for a wallet, but if it's worth trying, I'll do it. A decent KB is seen as negligible.
I'll check that out if I can, thanks, Muso
EDIT: Sorry, had to ask if you code with it.

Hmm. Looks nice. I like the 'high' note. Thank you ws.

But! Dose it work with Linux?

You're welcome. It's supposed to be a good compromise for those who game and code. So for just coding, you may prefer Cherry MX Blue.

I tried to see some info on my usual spot sites.

Here is one: https://new.webhallen.com/se/product/261053-Corsair-Gaming-K95-RGB-PLATINUM-Mechanical-Keyboard-Cherry-MX-Brown

I could see myself use it. Hefty pricetag. What do you say about it?
I'll see what the blue one gives. It's just that I do not want to have something half-assed either. I could spend some $50 more which could give more than that, if you know what I mean.

Well mine is a Das Keyboard, so the material on the keys themselves is probably going to be different.

As for the keystrokes themselves, I don't really have anything to compare it to? I suppose I would probably get Cherry MX Blue if I did things over again as I've resigned myself to console gaming.

I don't actively notice anything wrong with it as I type, if that's what you mean. And I don't notice any problems typing quickly. Rolling sequences (A-R-E, for one), are quite pleasant.

They mainly do switches yes, but I have a Cherry keyboard ( Cherry G80-3850LYBGB-2, Cherry red for the actual switches ). Fantastic keyboard.

That felt good to hear. Ok. MX Blue feels like a good research subject.
EDIT: What is a 'Das' keyboard?

"Das Keyboard" is a brand name. They make keyboards with Cherry MX switches.

Thank you all. And...Naib - I got caught in the flurry of Zixnub and Nag. Sorry. I got the absurd idea you were joking.
..may hap you still do, but it's definitely been a better guidance for me. So, thanks, guys and gals (looking at notageek).

pff....

the benefit of my fucking cherry keyboard is it fucking has cherry switches and does NOT look like some christmas tree. Every half decent mechanical keyboard looks like its auditioning as a stagegirl
And its not even worth talking about membrane keyboards.

:D Made me chuckle (an old fart here). Membrane Keyboards you say...hey. If that truly exists!

@ws I saw the video. Red or brown seems to be my bet mostly. Thanks again.

Noobs. When I program I use a butterfly to control the air currents and focus cosmic rays to flip the bits on my disk.

For everything else it is a Microsoft comfort curve 3000.
