[SOLVED] No notification dialog from KOrganizer

I use korganizer with google calendar backend. All events are shown in korganizer window and sync with google calendar works fine. But there are no notifications at NN minutes before the event starts (as configured in the event settings).

KOrganizer 5.5.3,
KDE Frameworks 5.37.0
Qt 5.7.1 (built against 5.7.1)
The xcb windowing system

Looks like .xsession-errors file gets line when the dialog should be displayed, but I'm not sure if it is related:

QXcbConnection: XCB error: 2 (BadValue), sequence: 39179, resource id: 100663307, major code: 141 (Unknown), minor code: 3

How to debug the problem? Am I the only unlucky or the problem is reproducible in your environment?

I believe QXcbConnection error is not related to the problem, the error happens on mouse hover KDE taskbar.

No, that is unrelated. KOrganizer notifications is a known issue fixed in upcoming 17.08 release.

Thanks! Upgrade korganizer (and dependencies) to 17.08.2 fixed the problem.
