CURA layer feature not working

I was wondering if other people are having this issue. The layer feature is not working. As well as creating custom material. Importing material seems to only half work.

Anyway.... I had some errors in the log.

I made the comments on a closed issue; so I don't expect to get a response. But, they are in the link below for reference.
