I have a strange behavior when i increase or decrease my volume. Two volumeindicators, slightly different in layout.

My DE is Xfce (with gtk-greeter) and the only indicator I've installed is xfce4-volumed-pulse, but i don't exactly know is some other package has pulled in something extra.
I have a kind of basic setup, Gentoo desktop profile, gimp, LibreOffice, arc-grey-theme

Is there a way i can check things related to this popup/indicator?

I only use headphones, and my volume mixer only has analog stereo duplex enabled, and headphones connected. Nothing else. My compositor is Xfce default and no strange autostart entries that i'm aware of.

In system tray you have only a icon for volume?
Typically volume indicator for xfce4 are
Code:
media-sound/volumeicon
xfce-extra/xfce4-volumed-pulse
xfce-extra/xfce4-volumed <-- deprecated
xfce-extra/xfce4-alsa-plugin
