Hi. Again .
Finally, I've successfully configured Bluez-5 with ALSA, as well as sink/source audio through Bluetooth. The only [minor] issue I have is that I can only play WAV files on my laptop through blue-alsa otherwise a loud, white noise is heard. I guess WAV is the only supported encoding for blue-alsa — someone confirms?
So how can I play any file and send it through blue-alsa to my beautiful Radius Speaker?
Here's my working, global ALSA configuration file:
/etc/asound.conf: | # Bluetooth headset/speaker
defaults.bluealsa {
interface "hci0" # host Bluetooth adapter
device "FC:58:FA:52:1E:AA" # Radius Speaker MAC address
profile "a2dp"
} |
