|
|
After a recent emerge and switching to gcc 5, the proprietary nvidia driver stopped working. When using the installation program NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-367.44.run
An error occurred while performing the step: "Building kernel modules".
Does that mean I would have to rebuild the linux kernel and modules?

Why you not use ebuild for installation? You can find old ebuild here (and relative patch).
Anyway you need to post the error, without is impossible to help you. _________________ Questions are guaranteed in life; Answers aren't. |

Thanks for the reminder. I have switched to the ebuild, but the error message remains same:
