I noticed topic reply notifications from the Gentoo forums still contain HTTP links to forums.gentoo.org instead of HTTPS links. It's probably time to change that... What do you think?

Yes, I noticed being redirected to the HTTPS version. But it's still a bug that should be fixed in my opinion. I'm on a mission to replace all HTTP links with HTTPS whenever possible. On Gentoo wiki, in ebuilds, on Wikipedia, etc. :) I'm not very good at making major contributions, so I keep fixing minor stuff for now...
